I absolutely loved the view from our living room. Rain or shine, overlooking the marina was wonderful. Our suite was a nice size and had far more amenities than I expected. I feel like housekeeping went above and beyond in that our paper towel holder had a bow crafted from one of the paper towels, our toilet paper roll had another creation on it, etc. I thought the days of towel animals, and such had gone by the wayside, so the little surprises really meant something. The real standout was the service we received at breakfast. Each morning we were greeted with an exuberant "Good Morning. Welcome to breakfast!" The staff could not have been more friendly and really helped to start my morning off right.

Excellent location on the wharf close to endless restaurants. Walking distance to the Tidal Basin. Free shuttle bus to the National Mall. One bedroomed suite with kitchenette was perfect for a family of 4. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, especially at reception and in the breakfast area. Special mention to Christine on reception who was so kind and professional and to Aurelia on breakfast who made us feel so welcome every morning. Complimentary breakfast was fabulous, a huge range including fresh fruit, breads and bagels, and cooked breakfast. We will definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, truly a 2 minute walk to the Anthem. Only thing was little tricky once Uber dropped us off to find entrance to hotel. We learned it was on Pearl Street. But it was right there at drop off at hotel. Breakfast was well worth the $$ to stay. And I thought they would shuttle you back to Union Station so we could catch train back home. Desk said no. Uber to station was about $10. But if you are wanting to see the sights we use Old Town Trolley. Stop 5 is 1 block from hotel. Also learn hotel does offer free shuttle to some of the sightseeing. So check that list also.

Location is excellent, right on The Wharf. Property well taken care of and staff very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was excellent and great to have in house so can get going early and start off day. Bonus is the free Southwest Neighborhood shuttle which transports passengers to 5 locations, one being the National Mall. At the end of a busy day of walking and touring, the Wharf has numerous restaurants, most with outdoor seating facing the water. No need to go very far from property for dinner. Overall excellent location and facilities for a reasonable price for its location.

The main added value of this hotel is the location. It's in a safe neighborhood. The Wharf is a nice place to spend the evenings in, strolling by Washington Channel, or having a dinner in one of the many restaurants around. L'Enfant Plaza subway station is within reasonable walking distance. You can also walk to the national mall and all its attractions. Although the rooms are a bit worn out, they are clean, and housekeeping does a good job. The breakfast is good enough, unless you're very picky.
