Absolutely fantastic location! Some have complained about the breakfast but it was pretty expansive given the location and what you usually get in hotels in large cities [which, if you're lucky, is a muffin and tiny creamers that can be left out.] The staff was continually hustling to keep everything clean and well-stocked. No one in our group of six people wasn't able to find something good to eat. I can't have caffeine so I very much appreciated them having decaf coffee available. I do wish they would leave coffee station out somewhere all day. Pool table was nice. Staff always willing to answer questions. Couple rough spots in room [dented front of fridge, drawer that wouldn't close all the way, no "do not disturb sign] but on the whole solid. We were on third floor on city side during Easter weekend and street noise didn't bother us. Valet parking was a breeze and no problem getting the key to the car to get things we forgot in it. Car retrieved very quickly by friendly staff. At the end of the day, you're paying for the location, so everything else is gravy. 15 minute walk to so many things, including Tidal Basin and National Mall. Couple minutes to boat launch for water taxi to Georgetown &/or Alexandria [also recommend] :-D I would definitely stay there again in the future.

The breakfast was amazing. We have an extensive list of allergies in my family and their large selection accommodated everyone. They even offered gluten free oatmeal ,(confirmed it's only made with water and oats). It was extremely family and kid friendly. During breakfast they had the TV on kid friendly shows which kept my little ones entertained. Check in was a breeze. Front desk and breakfast staff was extremely friendly, helpful and I could tell they enjoyed what they do. It was 2 people in particular that stood out: Aurelia with breakfast staff greeted everyone each morning at breakfast. It certainly set the mood. The staff moved swiftly to turn over the dining area between crowds. I felt safe and comfortable. It was a young gentlemen that was the houseman during checkout on Sunday that was a huge help. I wish I remembered his name. I would absolutely stay again. Hotel was clean, food was good, staff was great and they were very accommodating. Perfect location and worth every penny. If it's the weekend, you can find street parking to avoid paying $65 a night for valet or garage parking. The entrance for hotel is located right off 7th Street Closer to the river. Check size of room, our room was tight but as a family of 2 adults and 2 small children we slept comfortably.

The room was appropriate in amenities. It was clean and service was executed perfectly on a daily basis. Breakfast was excellent and convenient. The location is very active. The Wharf is a new destination with options of restaurants and hotels, as well as high foot traffic. It is also relatively close to main tourist attractions (we could easily walk back in the afternoon from the Lincoln Memorial to Wharf through MLK Memorial and the Tidal Basin). The SW Shuttle was also convenient and easy to use to get into downtown without using the Metro (it drops you next to the Air and Space Museum and the Mall).

Very grateful we were able to check in early at 930ish am on Sat morning. Our flight arrived at 730am and appreciative that the staff offered to check us in early and was able to grab breakfast and get some much needed sleep/rest in our 3 rooms. Also appreciated our 3 rooms were close to each other which made out stay more enjoyable. And we loved the location... the Wharf offerings and walking distance to many of our sightseeing destinations.

The room space is big enough with half river view. It is clean and comfy. For the breakfast buffet., it was also good with lots of choices( hot and cold food) The location is not so bad. It takes about 15 mins to walk to the metro station. As the hotel situates close to the wharf, there are many restaurants to dine in or take out. The front desk staff is very friendly and nice to help to solve my concerns.
